How to get to the Napoli Sotterranea tour entrance

The entrance is at Piazza San Gaetano 68 (the official site writes 69), on Via dei Tribunali, next to the Basilica of San Paolo Maggiore, in the historic centre of Naples. White and blue flags with the name mark the door, and a tuff sculpture of Aeolus stands in front of it.

Do not rely only on a Google Maps search

The official site warns that the address on Google Maps leads to the wrong destination and asks visitors to use the map link on their own website. The pin on our map uses the coordinates from Tiqets, which we have not checked on site. Look for the flags and the sculpture of Aeolus in Piazza San Gaetano.

By metro

According to a tourist guide, Dante on Line 1 is about 10 minutes on foot along Via dei Tribunali. From Napoli Centrale and Piazza Garibaldi, Line 1 towards Piscinola goes to Dante. Museo (Line 1) and Piazza Cavour (Line 2) stations are also in the area, but we have not verified the walking time.

On foot in the historic centre

Piazza San Gaetano is on the line of the ancient main decumanus, between Via dei Tribunali and Via Duomo. Cappella Sansevero is about 300 metres away, calculated from coordinates.

From the airport and the port

We have not verified bus or metro connections from Capodichino airport or the port to Piazza San Gaetano. Check the timetables on the local transport operators' websites.
